A.2 Jesus’ Memorial, 22 March 2027.

The Lord’s Evening Meal.
Monday, 22 March 2027, after sunset, I would like to invite you, dear brothers and sisters, to hold a memorial service and reflect on Jesus’ death. It’s a sacred and mandatory service. You can have it in your room, alone or together with your brothers and sisters in faith. And for those who are interested, I will include an invitation link below to the Jehovah’s Witnesses site, which also holds the memorial service each year, if you want to experience their holy ceremony.

We will remain assured because Jesus died for us, and through his perfect life, he paid the complete Ransom for our sins. With that, he finished his sacred service on earth—therefore securing the forgiveness of our sins and making eternal life possible for all who place faith in him! — John 3:16.

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16.

Jesus gave the commandment, “Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” — Luke 22:19, 1 Corinthians 11:24.

During Jesus’ last supper, when he was with his anointed brothers, he made a new covenant with them. It is called the Kingdom covenant - for they will be ruling with him in the Kingdom in Heaven. — Luke 22:28-30.
Those anointed brothers are members of the Bride Class. (see Chapter 5 - The Kingdom). He gave them the commandment to “Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” — Luke 22:19.
So, each year they partake in the sacred event, the Last Supper, in remembrance of Jesus’ death. The other Christians, the large flock that goes to paradise on earth, will be witnesses of the sacred event, the Last Supper, in remembrance of Jesus’ death.

It is an essential commandment for every Christian to join or hold the memorial service. It is a sacred act, even when performed alone. It can be as short as “after sunset on 22 March 2027, remembering what Jesus did for us, how he remained obedient to the Heavenly Father until the end - yes, until death on a torture stake.” — Philippians 2:8.

To explore this sacred topic in more depth, you can also read Luke 22. (It is advised first to study the subject “The Bride Class” a bit better, to gain a clearer understanding of what it is all about—the heavenly covenant Jesus made with his anointed brothers and such. Luke Chapter 22 will have much more impact.)

For those who want to go in more depth, I have prepared a ZIP file with some songs and my evening plan for this service as examples. Feel free to use it.
You can hold the ceremony on your own or together with your friends or family in faith. When you hold the ceremony with multiple people, you can sing the songs together, and each person can read a part of Luke 22. It’s a holy ceremony you can perform together, sharing a beautiful, very special moment. Still, you can also do it on your own, and then you don’t have to feel alone – Heavenly Father worshippers, your fellow True Christians, are holding the same ceremony worldwide! So even when you are alone in your room, you are not truly alone.

We’re all in this together. We all face the same struggles, and we all rely on the perfect Sacrifice, the perfect Ransom, and the perfect Lamb of God, Jesus. And we are all dependent on his teachings! And last but not least - we all share the same Heavenly Father!

Because the yearly sacred service is closely linked to the Jewish Passover tradition and the original events involving Moses, the Pharaoh, and the ten plagues in Egypt—notably the tenth plague—here is a link about Passover to help you better understand what the sacred service is about: What Is the Passover? (JW.org) https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/questions/what-is-passover/

The webpage above provides additional background on what is being remembered during the sacred service. It also shows the connection between the Jewish Passover tradition and the holy service, emphasising that Jesus died for us on the torture stake as the Perfect Sacrifice, the Perfect Lamb of God.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses, a Christian organisation that also worships the Heavenly Father, observe this sacred service annually with great loyalty. I do it at home, but for those who wish to experience it or see how it is done, here is a link to find a local address in your neighbourhood: Memorial of Jesus’ Death (JW.org) https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/memorial/

Note: Just out of precaution, during the service when the wine and bread are passed on... Please do not drink or eat from it; the emblems are meant for the members of the Bride Class. — 1 Corinthians 11:27-29.

The package with songs and other material that I use at home can be downloaded here:

With thanks to the Heavenly Father and His servants at JW.org for the beautiful songs, lyrics, and accurate Bible material they made available.

May the undeserved kindness of the Heavenly Father and His beloved son, Jesus, be with you!
